A Changing World

We live in a world that is constantly evolving, constantly changing. But then these changes are not always good. Yes we have made progress in life, but at what price??? My grandpa talks about the good old days when food was unadulterated and the air was clean, crime was punished and terror threats were more or less known existent. There was no squabbling politicians or mud slinging between political parties and terror threats.

We live in a constant shadow of terror threats. The object were developed to make life better are now being used to be take life. There is no surety that if you step out of your house today you would return in a single part or own your ability. We say we live in a modern society but we still have the religious fanatics who are all against it, we have politicians who all against progress, we have the moral police who make it a point to oppose whatever they feel (or is convenient) is against their so called.

It's been well over 50 years since we received our independence, but we have political parties who believe that outsiders should go back to their own states. People who in a way oppose the freedom, the freedom to choose to work anywhere in the country. We have politicians who make their duty to oppose whatever the opposite party, even if this is for the progress of the country. Politicians who love to make spectacle of themselves. The trust vote in the Parliament was probably the most entertaining show on television and fodder to the media, more entertaining than any show on television.

We live in a society who though claims to be modernizing but still show the signs of its narrowness. A society with it's own rules and norms and total intolerance to most of the thing.

Our world today revolves around money. We have forgotten to live our lives. Rising inflation has even worsen the situations. The basic necessities of life have become costlier forcing us to be and even bigger slave to money than we already are.

The world may be changing...but the question is in which directions are we heading????
