Is hanging Kasab the solution?

We have sentenced Kasab to death for the events of 26th November 2009. But my question is hanging the solution?

What he did is heinous and deserves the highest punishment. But what have we done to prevent another 26/11. We are still susceptible to another such attack, corruption still runs high and most importantly our forces are still not prepared to counter. We do not have the proper measures in place. These are the more important thing that we need to take care of.

Beside we have to deal with naxalities and maoist and their attacks. And now we politicians trying to gain political mileage from and pseudo activist trying to defend them. Just hope they don't get outside support for their so called bloody uprising.

Coming back to Kasab, hanging him elevates him to martyrdom and creating many more like him. What are we doing to prevent this? Obviously his country is doing nothing about it. So what are we doing about it??? That's a question we need to find a solution about.
