Confession of a Bookworm

When you pick a book, you are not just picking a story to read, but you are choosing to go on an adventure, on a journey, which lies awaiting for you within its pages.

A good book tells a story but a great book makes you live the story, breathing life into the words on the pages, bringing it alive, conjuring up visuals, like having your very own theatre in the recesses of your mind.

It just doesn't tell you a story, it makes you feel one with the story. You don't read words, you actually feel every words. You are transported to a world that's fantastical and at times scary and dangerous.

You become the people described in those pages, feeling what they feel, seeing things that they see. It doesn't matter what's your gender, your age, your preferences. You feel their desire, you feel their passion, their wants, their longing. You can feel their fear, you feel their anguish and frustration, their temptation, you see things that they see.

Each page building to an orgasmic climax. Bringing you either ecstasy or agony, joy or despair, but at every moment holding your attention.

And in the end when you finally put it down you are glad for undertaking the journey, because for those moments your world and your cares are forgotten, the world in those pages become your world.
