Why oh Why!!!

Why oh why oh why!
Why do we have “Why”?
Why this, why that!
Why me, why now
So many Whys
Not many How
An annoying word to be heard
To ask and be asked
To try and find an answer
To an eternal, infernal question
With no answer in sight
And solution to be found
So it needs to be banned
To be banished
To the further most recesses of the mind
Never to be used again
Never to be heard again
Never to be asked
Never to ask
No more WHY
And on a different note
Why is pretty neat song by Annie Lennox

The Horny Honkers!!!

You can’t escape them
One way or the other
They will find you
The horny honkers !!!

For them, honking is music to the ears
And why should they be selfish
And keep this art to themselves
When can be generous and share it
And let others in on their performance

They go by the rule that
Honking is their birthright
And they shall do it
Probably the only one they follow
But this ain’t a rule but a personal one

Rules are not meant for them
Following them is beneath them
And breaking them
Is what they were meant to do

So should find yourself in a position
Where you’re waiting the signal to change
And hear an incessant honking
Just give up and give them way
Cause patience isn’t their middle name
Or any name for that matter
And neither is it Miss Jackson
They will honk
Till you finally give in
Or you could risk
Your poor ears bleeding!!!

You wonder what pleasure they derive
From all that honking
But then you wonder if it was possible
That honking is orgasmic to them
An aphrodisiac they need to have
To get them all hot and heavy

You wonder if every blast of their horn
Sends pleasure electric pulses
To  their pleasure points
Making them come with every blast
Till they reach a climax!

You can imagine
They screaming in ecstasy
Every time they blow that horn
And no other part
Till they can take it no more and come!

So in the end
Should you chance to come upon
This peculiar creature
Which you most likely will
Just give them way
Cause resisting is futile
For your sanity and your ears
So just let them pass by
The horny honkers!!!

We all fall in love sometime

We all fall in love sometime
It’s something that we can’t help
It’s something that just happens
We just love the feeling of being in love
The hopeless romantic who’s lost all hope
We all fall in love sometime

No matter how much we try to hide from it
No matter how much we try to run away from it
No matter how much we avoid it
It always finds us
Maybe we just bad at the game of hide and seek
Or we just like to be tortured
Of the feeling of being in love
But let’s face it, we are a lost cause
We all fall in love sometime

It’s the most beautiful feeling in this world
To be loved by someone who loves you
But it’s the most cruelest feeling in the world
Bringing with it a world of hurt
When things don’t really go your way
When you don’t meet the one
You were meant to be with
At least that what you feel in your head
It can make you the loneliest soul in the world
Leaving you feeling insecure and restless
Despite all this, we all fall in love sometime

Don’t let anyone, don’t let anything
Tell you who you should fall in love it
Cause we don’t know either
Maybe they could point us in the general direction
Now wouldn’t that be swell
Wouldn’t that would save us the time and effort
But you know what
No matter what they say
We still fall in love sometime

Let no one tell you your love is not right
Your love is immoral
That you are not meant to be
With the one you love
Its against the very shred of nature
Cause I really don’t think they know either
What love actually is
Other than what they have been thought
The lessons they have by hearted
They rote learned like a parrot
Using someone else’s thought
Understanding and perception
Of what love should be
Never truly trying to get the big picture
But sadly their narrow minds
And small head may never ever fathom
That we all have to fall in love sometime
With the one we are meant to love
And we may not really know who

So put all the thoughts behind
Let go and a chance, take the risk
Jump off that cliff
Never knowing if you would sore
Or fall plat on the ground
A smooshed bloth on the earth
Cause we all need to fall in love sometime

The Joke

You may not like my hair
Or the clothes that I wear
The way that I walk
Or how I talk
But that’s who I am
The one that you choose not to see
But you don’t deserve to see the real me
So the jokes on you

I may not do as you say
Or follow the rules that you lay
I am not going to meet your expectations
Or even be part of your posse
Be at your beck and call
Do what you want me to do
Cause that’s what I don’t want to
But in the end, the jokes on you

You may label me
And call me names
Laugh behind my back
Make faces when I don’t look
Make me a subject of your wicked games
But you don’t get to crack jokes on me
Without trying to get to know me
But for every joke you try to crack
The jokes on you

You may be critical about the way I am
Have something to say
About everything that I do
But you don’t get to criticise me
If you don’t try to know me
For everything you have to say
The jokes on you

You choose to see
Only what you want to see
You may see the smile
But never see the pain beneath
Cause the vulnerable me
Is what you will never see
If you haven’t experienced my pain
Gone to the places I’ve been
Or tried to walk in my shoes
You’ll know me, and for that
The jokes on you

You may use your words
Like a dagger
Slashing at me,
leaving me all cut and bleeding
Never caring about the hurt you cause
But no matter what you may try to do
The jokes on you

You may try to stick a label on me
Cause you don’t get me
Cause i don’t fit in the world you create
Judge me, box me
Try to recruit me
To be part of your communities
Try to take away freedom
Clip away my wings
Cause though my body may break
My spirit shall always be free
And for that you shall never own me
Hence the jokes on you

No matter you may try to do
The jokes on you

The Boy, the Road and the Rain

You stir before the crack dawn
Waking up groggily at four in the morn
Your try to catch that extra sleep
Cause you feel too bored to hit the street
But then reluctantly make up your mind
So after the coffee is drunk
And you’ve taken a dump
You dress up, you lace up
And after some stretches and warm ups
You’re off at a comfortable pace
Cause you’re sore from legs day the day before
So you make a conscious effort
To ensure you run slow
And not look like a robot
who has taken to the street

You feel  a drizzle on your face
Still you continue go at your own pace
Now the drizzle is a downpour
But still you continue to go
Letting the rain soak you to the bone
A solitary figure on the road
Before the break of dawn

The small little streamlets
Have turned to flowing streams
Your splash and you splosh
As you make dash through the rain
Trying to dodge the puddles
Or vehicles that splash they go by
Should your shoes soak in the water
Wetting your socks
Leading to possible blisters

But then the rain has a liberating feeling
Sets your spirit free
Unhiding all that was hidden
Like Mandakini’s wet saree
Your soaked clothes clings to your curves
Bringing forth a paunch
That you denied was ever there

But the rain sets your free
Letting all the pain that you feel
Act as fuel for you feet
Propelling you on, on that rainy morn
On the lighted but lonely street
Running to the beat of your heartbeat
And the patter of the rains
Like natures music  to your ears
Never letting you be lonely and alone
It has way of wiping your tears
And hiding it from the world

So you are grateful for the rains
For keeping you cool, calm and relaxed
Not letting you overheat
From the silly thoughts that you keep
Playing on and on in your mind
Letting you enjoy run
Setting your heart and spirit free

So you run and you run
To the point where you come
To the distance you wanted to cover
To the point where it all started
Grateful that you woke up that early morn
Before the day was even born
To take to the street
The boy, the rain and the road

The Ballad of an Overthinker... if I may dare call it so

Hey overthinker
Don’t think so much
Life is not as complicated
As you think it to be

You think too much
Often over and over
Your overthinking won’t help you
Just leave you in a spot of mental torture

Hey overthinker
Stop over analysing your situation
Life may not go your way
But let that not make you go a stray

You are different and bit eccentric
But by saying you’re not like they
Will not help with things go your way
So just go with the flow
Let life surprise you

People are not all the same
And there’s no one to blame
It’s just your overthinking mind
Makes it difficult for you to manage the change

You’ve got to learn to go with the flow
Let life take you where it needs you to go
Savouring each moment of the way
Never rueing decisions and choices
You have to make

There so much to see
But your overthinking mind doesn’t let you be
There’s so much of life
that needs to be experienced
If only you set your mind free
of your overthinking spree

So stop being an overthinker
And savour life
Not everything needs to be over thought
Or even over analysed
Just let life surprise thee

And now stop overthinking
The way you want to end
This verse on overthinking
And let things be
The way it was meant to be

The Carolling Dilemma

As the temperature dips low
And the weather is starting to get cold
it means that October heat
Has made way for winter’s cold

It’s time to break out the woolies
The sweaters and the hoodies
To drink eggnogs and what nots
All the things that warm body and spirit

But the ears yearn to hear
To those familiar refrains
That comes with the season
Even if it’s over a month too soon

My heart wants to sing
Like a bird on a tree
Even though I know that
I sound like a braying mule

My cheek’s Gone rosy red
From the breeze and the cold
And joy fills the soul
So I don’t care if it’s not December yet
I will hum away

I will sing about sleigh bells
and silver bells
And  jingling of the bells

About trumpets and angelic choirs
And a drummer boy drumming his drum
Going rumpa pump pump
While we go fa la la la
Announcing the birth of a saviour

Although I may not know snow
It will not stop me dreaming
About a winter wonderland
White and blue and whatever colour
And riding through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
Led by a reindeer with a red nose

And of course a fat man
With a snowy beard, rosy cheeks
Wearing a red suit
Not knowing how to use the door
Comes down the chimney
When the whole world is asleep
While kids tip toeing for a glimpse

Though you may think me crazy
Singing carols so soon
But then the heart wants
What the heart wants

So if it want to sing carols
A moment too soon
I will hum and sing it
Not a moment too soon

Christmas resides
in the heart always
A feeling that will never go away
Making it stay with us
Long after the date has gone

So if I want to sing carols
In November, May or June
I will do that
Bringing joy to my soul
Joy to the world
